5 Healthy Ice Smoothies to Make For Dry July

Green Juice

First up we have a healthy classic that has taken over juice shops everywhere, green juice. To give yourself a healthy and tasty serving of liquid greens every day, you’ll just need a few ingredients. Combine a banana, spinach, apple, celery, cucumber, and your choice of nut or soy milk into a blender with ice and blend until smooth. To shake it up, add some ginger, mint, or cinnamon depending on what you like.

Berry Bliss

Berries are full of antioxidants and are often referred to as a superfood, so why not start your day with a delicious, antioxidant-rich berry smoothie? Choose which berries you like best, we recommend a mix of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries, and add them to a blender with ice, almond milk, some greek yogurt, and a banana and blend. Garnish with some fresh berries and mint for a refreshing start to your day.  Here’s a quick and easy recipe for you to try!

‘Chocolate Milkshake’

Being healthy makes us feel great, but it’s completely normal to miss the sweet stuff from time to time. To get the great taste of a chocolate milkshake without all the refined sugar, combine a banana, ice, one and a half tablespoons of cocoa powder, a dash of cinnamon, and your choice of milk into a blender. To add an extra shot of healthiness, add in a handful of spinach. You will end up with a deceptively healthy smoothie that tastes just like a chocolate milkshake!

Tropical Mocktail

Some days call for a delicious cocktail, and during Dry July we have just the thing. Satisfy all your tropical cocktail cravings with a tropical mocktail. Combine any tropical fruits you have on hand into a blender, we recommend pineapple, mango, and passionfruit. Add coconut milk for the true tropical flavour and ice, then blend until smooth. Top it all off with a mini umbrella for the finishing touch.
